The exhibition, lecture series and research program, developed and curated by baum for the Confucius Institute and The Chamber of Architects of Cádiz, focused on contemporary China’s urban change. After 2 years of research, the exhibition presented a 50-meters long continuous layout with self-produced graphic material and also documents provided by numerous main institutions, such like the British Museum or the National Urban Planning Bureau of China. The content was presented in 5 different lines of approach, 5 visions of the urban conflict to show the most important features of contemporary Chinese cities: city-nature, city-culture, city-revolution, city-spectacle and city-contrast.
